Mission
100Reporters informs and promotes the public’s right to know through investigative journalism, adapting traditional journalism’s standards and ethics to the new media landscape. To do this, it works with whistleblowers and citizen watchdogs to expose corruption and heighten government accountability.
100Reporters articles are published at 100r.org, often in partnership with other publications. Award-winning journalist Diana Jean Schemo, a veteran of The New York Times and The Baltimore Sun, is co-founder and executive editor.
In line with its mission to marry solid journalistic standards to evolving technologies and media, 100Reporters presents the Double Exposure Investigative Film Festival and Symposium, now in its sixth season. Double Exposure is the only combined festival and professional conference dedicated solely to the convergence of investigative journalism and visual storytelling.
100Reporters is funded by foundations, festival revenue, and by the contributions of visitors and readers like you.
100Reporters syndication service (RSS feed) is available free of charge. This will allow you to receive fresh material directly to your website whenever it is posted to 100r.org.
